Your Mission

• You have a passion for aviation and would like to contribute to the origination and execution of structured asset-based financings in the Aviation sector.
• Your focus is on transaction execution of various financing and leasing structures in the asset-based aircraft financing sector including finance/operating leases, PDPs, portfolio and warehouse financings.
• You review potential transactions and check their compliance with the bank's strategy, including pricing calculation and assessment from a risk and return perspective.
• With increasing experience, you will also take on relationship management and acquisition tasks for asset finance aviation clients and participate in sector- or asset finance-specific projects.
• You enjoy participating in conferences and customer meetings, representing the bank.
• You independently coordinate the allocated credit portfolio and handle the necessary internal coordination with other interfaces within BayernLB.
• You are a constructive team player and contribute ideas for the further development of the product range.

Your Skills

• A completed university degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline is required - ideally, your academic background is complemented by additional professional qualifications or certifications
• You have 3 years of relevant professional experience in corporate or structured lending and you have already gained first experience in the aviation sector.
• Experience and willingness to develop and implement complex financing models for asset-based financing, ideally in the aviation context.
• Ability to understand and assess financial models; good knowledge of contractual documentation and credit risk.
• Must be proficient in English (written and spoken) another language would also be preferable.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to work in a team, initiative, and resilience.
• Good negotiation skills (internal/external).
• Willingness to travel regularly.
